Quick Start Guide
The entire team at AdTorque would like to welcome you to our network. This page will help you get ads up and running on your site and begin earning money for you.
1. Access your Control Panel
Go to http://app.adify.com – make sure you bookmark this page as it is your login page to your control panel.
2. Creating your Ad Spaces
Once you’re logged in, you’ll need to start setting up your ad spaces. Choose “Create a New Ad Space”.
We highly recommend that you setup at least all 4 spaces to start with. These are the most popular sizes with advertisers and agencies across the world;
- Leaderboard (728 x 90)
- Full Banner (468 x 60)
- Island or Medium Rectangle (300 x 250)
- Skyscraper (160 x 600)
Be sure to leave the pricing values of each ad space as default, ie $0.01. If you set them higher, you will miss out on revenue in areas of the world you don’t normally sell ads. Our policy is to push live any campaign that is booked, leaving sites to reject on price.
Once you’ve created and saved the ad spaces you’ll need to copy each ad tags into website, blog or ad server.
3. Positioning of Ads
Advertisers like to have their ads above the fold and we require at least 2 ads above the fold and no more than 3-4 ads on a single page. In regards to where to positioning your ads its important to read this blog before you start adding them to your site – Positioning Your Ad Units
4. Ad Server
If you’re only running AdTorque, then you won’t need an ad server, however if you are running AdTorque as part of your entire advertising cycle, then you might want to consider using an ad server.
An easy to use online adserver is Openx hosted. Here is a blog we wrote on Publisher Ad Serving.
5. Screen Shots
After you have setup all the ad units on the site, please email us screen shots or links to the pages where you have setup AdTorque ad tags. This is an important phase as we need to check on behalf of our advertising clients that ads are above fold and have been setup properly.
6. Going Live
Initially ads running through your tags will be a combination of remnant and house ads. Once we’ve looked over your site, we’ll then start adding your site to relevant advertising campaigns.
7. Advertising Page
In order us to help you sell your website or blog its important on your Advertising Page to refer you readers to the AdTorque Network site. If you don’t already have an Advertising page, then we recommend that you create one and add something like this text;

8. Account & Payment Information
While you are in the Adify control panel, make sure that all your contact and payment information is valid and up to date.
